Founder & Author

I started mountain biking in high school. We had short XC single track close to our house and it was a fun way to stay in shape for soccer. We just didn't have the terrain, that I found really enjoyable to ride so interested waned. Fast forward almost a decade and my garage was broken into over a long holiday weekend, my father's mountain bike was stolen. I used my home owners insurance to replace the garage door and the bike.

My first adventure/ road trip was visiting my brother in Montana in 2012 and my interest in mountain biking along with adventuring and travel exploded. I couldn't get enough. Luckily, my wife has fallen in love with riding as well, which had made riding and traveling that much more exciting.

I have been self employed since 2007. I moved back to Minnesota in the Fall of 2008 and started a small valet and parking management company with a couple of partners. It has been a fantastic ride. Self employment & working in the service industry has allowed a lot of flexibility for both myself and my team. If you've ever seen Epicly Latered, think this episode

Falling in love with mountain biking all over again has also awakened a thirst for travel and adventure. My interests expanded beyond just biking and has opened up the entire world as an adventurer's playground. I am excited to explore it all.
